My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a perfect cuddling, fun loving teddy bear, I am your gal.  My name is Sandy.  I am a 4 -year young golden doodle weighing in at 38 lbs.

My favorite thing to do is cuddle on the couch and play with my foster doggie sisters.  I am potty trained and use the doggie door to go out anytime and do my business.

I am also a great listener; I come when called, can sit and will even shake a paw.  I also love putting my paw on my human to get some loving.

I do love going on walks but I pull on the leash so I will need some patience and positive guidance once I find my forever home.

The ideal home for me would be a household where my humans are around more often than not.  I would also love a doggie friend to play with.  I am more the reserved type and will approach my doggie friends politely.  I also like the same, otherwise, I will hide by my human.

I do take a bit to love on new people as they scare me.  I don’t have a mean bone in my body but I get scared and may bark.

When I first went to my foster family, I pee’d a couple times because I was scared of the big men. Now, I am cuddling with them all as much as I can.

I haven’t been around cats, but my foster mom is sure I will be polite and respect their space.

I do require a fenced yard because I love to go in and out of the house.

If you are ready to give me endless cuddles, please fill out a Statement of Interest at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest/
