Holly is a sweet & curious kitty and a faithful companion. We call her the ‘Marshmallow Kitty’ because she is soft and fluffy. She likes to jump up on the table and snuggle up/purr loudly while you are working on a laptop. One of her favorite spots to catnap during the day is the bathroom/bedroom closet where it is quiet and cozy. Holly plays with her favorite kitty toys, likes to be scratched on her neck and licks my hand on occasion (her version of a kitty kiss). She loves to watch water dripping from the kitchen faucet and will occasionally play in the water with her front paws (although she refuses to do the kitchen dishes) Holly is a nature lover and likes to hang out on the back patio - but will not venture far from her owner. She is litter trained and declawed (front paws).

Holly was adopted from a breeder at 8 weeks of age and is considered a Napolian/Persion breed. She eats wet food 2x day and her favorite snack is cut up chicken (we do not give her this every day or she will demand it). We are sad to give Holly up for adoption but she is not getting along with our two other kitties who sometimes tease and torment her. She needs a home with lots of love & undivided attention. Holly prefers to be an only-child with no cats. dogs or children to compete with.

We have no facility. Find a pet online. Visit foster home to meet the pet. Zoom meetings during COVID

Complete adoption application and contract. Return via email

Interview

Interview applicant, communicate with applicant's references, check with vet that current pets are vaccinated and neutered.

Additional adoption info

We require our cats/kittens to be indoor only and we do not allow declawing. We email each applicant our application after they have met the pet.

We foster out of our homes, so we schedule either virutal or in-person visits with the foster home of the cat/kitten you are interested in meeting.

Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth rescues cats and kittens from local Fort Worth neighborhoods. We foster all of our animals in our homes, we do not have a physical location. All of our cats/kittens are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, socialized and loved in their foster homes and then adopted out to their furever homes.
