My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our girl Klover is looking for a furever home. This sweet goofball has been with us too long and we don't know why. She would love to be your only furry friend. She is a huge ball girl who loves her treats and being a velcro dog. Klover is a fan of tug a war and our dog walkers describe her as super sweet. She is also house trained. Imagine the fun you could have shopping for tug toys that will provide endless hours of fun for her and laughs for you. Hurry down and meet Klover and make her wishes come true.

Additional adoption info

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Please see http://www.nevadahumanesociety.org/ for more information including all currently available animals, adoption prices, resources, and events.

More about this shelter

Nevada Humane Society is a non-profit organization whose lifesaving work is made possible through donations. In 2007, NHS became a no-kill shelter and launched a bold effort to help Washoe County become a no-kill community. In 2014, NHS expanded lifesaving efforts to include Carson City. Today, more than 70,000 animals have been placed into loving homes since 2007 and NHS continues to grow, maintaining its status as one of the top communities in the country for saving homeless pets.
