My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have anxiety? We have the perfect kitten to help with that!

Introducing Anxiety. Anxiety and her littermates came to TCR as very young kittens, with very severe upper respiratory infections. After a long struggle to get them healthy, the "potatoes" are finally ready for adoption!

This little lady is so silly she’ll cure all your blues. She’s constantly making her foster mom laugh with her ridiculous antics. Not only is she adorable but she’s so sweet. She has the cutest purr that starts right up as soon as she sees you. It’s really loud, but also has a little squeak in it. She loves pets and cuddles. She’ll purr squeak at you to cuddle and then run off because she’s been distracted by anything.

Anxiety loves to play with all kinds of toys. Springs, crinkle balls, wand toys, cat dancer, anything that moves. She also loves to play with her brothers and other foster siblings. Because of her high energy level it would be best for Anxiety to be adopted with one of her brothers or at least into a home with another active kitty friend. She would also do well in a variety of homes with kids and possibly dogs.

Anxiety is about six months old. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you’re looking for a funny, adorable friend, apply for Anxiety today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
