Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is her name for good reason, it means beautiful and she brings it in both presence and personality. She is a perfectly petite and sweet thing who doesn’t know a stranger, has a gentle playful presence, and is the perfect tag-along girl for any adventure! Take a look at her Get-To-Know Bella video to see all of her perfection in action then come back to read more. https://youtu.be/fdJVhmHh_S0
Bella has been described as a perfect companion by everyone who’s spent time with her. She’s calm yet playful, people-loving, and absolutely adores kids. Bella is the kind of dog that greets you at the door with her tail wagging, glowing with love, and ready to be the best part of your day. If you’re looking for a family dog, Bella is the perfect fit—gentle and patient with little ones, lighting up at their hugs, sharing toys, and giving sweet kisses like a dream dog brought to life.
Bella is estimated to be just shy of 10 months old, weighs about 38 pounds currently, and is likely a lab/pittie mix. While we can’t guarantee her exact breed or precise age, we can promise she’s 100% lovable and ready to be your best girl! Bella is so fortunate and is being fostered in a loving home while she waits for her adoption day. This is an important detail for the dogs comfort and experience while also giving us a front row seat to her at-home personality. Bella is currently the only dog in her foster home but has neighbors all around that have dogs so regular play sessions with a variety of dog, big to small, old to young, are part of her canine-social life, making her a well rounded doggie playmate. On top of that she enjoys outings with her foster and they have shared she is a natural when out and about in public settings. At home Bella is perfectly playful without being pushy, understanding that her foster dad is occasionally working from home and cannot play. She is happy to lay on her bed with a toy or snooze away until its time to play or go outside together. A major element of having a dog fostered in a home is being able to learn the key details of being a good house dog, one of the biggest being house trained. Bella is fully house trained and her foster family shared that after giving her a tour of the appropriate potty places she did not have any accidents in the house.
Bella’s friendly nature extends to dogs just as much as people. When we introduced Bella to a handful of new dogs she showed great doggie manners in her greetings and playful, friendly energy. Not every dog she met was interested in playing and she was great at reading and respecting that. Once she made a connection with a dog it was all fun with her showing us her love for a good round of chase. greets new canine friends politely and has great dog manners. Bella thrives in the company of a playful dog friend but would also do well as a solo pup with plenty of love and activity. She’s eager to play, though she’s still learning boundaries and takes corrections well from other dogs. With a little guidance, Bella will become a wonderful canine companion.
The ideal home for Bella would be a family or a social individual/couple. Bella is highly people-oriented and craves affection, she is a lover and would be happiest with people to spread her love around to. Whether its with kids, neighbors, family or friends, if you have an open door policy Bella is in full-support and will be there to greet them with love. Given she is an older puppy her happiness to greet people she will occasionally jump up to get a little closer for a kiss. She is small so it is a delicate jump but she is eager to please and very responsive to gentle corrections, so this will improve quickly with practice. Her dream would be a life with a playful doggie companion and a home with a yard. Well, it would be amazing but isn’t needed. Walks, social get togethers, and occasional visits to a local doggie-day-care will fulfill her if solo-dog or apartment life is the case.
Bella is a perfectly petite, silly, loving, and enthusiastic pup who’s ready to bring so much happy-go-lucky fun to life. With her playful spirit and affectionate heart, she’s the perfect blend of fun-loving and loyal.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family
Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
