With her warm personality, she’s not shy about letting you know what she wants, especially when it comes to gentle strokes on her head and neck, which she adores. Gretta’s favorite way to spend her days is lounging on soft, cozy beds, enjoying the comfort and warmth. She thrives in a calm environment and would do best in a home without young children, where she can relax and feel at ease. As an independent lady, she prefers to be the only cat, enjoying her space and the undivided affection of her humans. When it’s time for dinner, you’ll never miss a cue—Gretta will patiently sit in plain view, reminding you that it’s mealtime. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a delightful personality, Grandma Gretta would be the perfect addition to your home!
All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
