Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lila is an 8 ½-year-old female cat with a calm and gentle soul. She is the perfect companion for someone looking for a quiet, low-maintenance feline friend. Lila enjoys the simple pleasures in life—sleeping, eating, and relaxing in the company of her human. Though she isn’t overly demanding, Lila has a special way of knowing when you’re upset and will seek you out to offer comfort and affection when you need it most.

Lila has been deeply loved throughout her life, and her bond with her human has always been a source of security and joy. Unfortunately, her human recently moved into assisted living and couldn’t take Lila along. Having lived with her human all her life, it would be wonderful for Lila and her friend, Amber, to stay together if possible, as their connection is truly special.

Lila is ready to bring her quiet companionship and loving nature into a new home where she can continue to be cherished.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
