Hemingway is a sweet gentleman who is very laid back and social. He loves to cuddle on you when you are laying on the couch or bed. He wants to be around you all the time and be loves to be given affection and to be pet. When you pick him up, he lights up and has a soft, sweet contented purr. This sweet dude is named after Ernest Hemingway, and his known adoration of polydactyl cats. This extra digit often comes from a mixed breed of Maine Coons that have the genetic mutation passed down through a dominant gene from their parent. Ernest Hemingway had a colony of polydactyl cats at his home in Key West, Florida. We have not had a Hemingway cat up for adoption for quite some time! If you would like to have a Meet and Greet with him please fill out his adoption application and we will get back to you.
Hemingway's adoption fee of $275 includes a microchip, FVRCP vaccines and neuter surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours.
