My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Primrose. I’m just about a 1 and 1/2 yr-old Tabby and white female. My foster mom says I’m absolutely wonderful! That is me all over, just a wonderful young-ish girl looking for my forever family. I'm very talkative and I 'll talk to you about my day and how much I love you. I had a human family once but when I got pregnant, I got dumped at a park. Fortunately, I got rescued just in time :). I’m very talkative, sweet and loving. My kittens have all been adopted but I’m still waiting for my turn to find that perfect home.

My pastimes include watching birds (on You-Tube or out the window), carrying my toy mice around, and occasionally playing with the other foster kitties. I’m a smart girl who’s kind and sweet to people. I’m very patient with the foster kittens but I prefer being with people. My being dumped hasn’t affected me at all. I was scared when I was outside but once I came into my foster house, I relaxed and soon started asking for petting and love. I’m sure I’ll do that at your house too.

I’m all ready to go to my forever home. I’ve been spayed and I’ve been chipped. So, I’m all set to go to my new home. I really would prefer being the only cat but if you already have a friendly kitty, I’m sure we could get along. I think I might have been overwhelmed with all my kittens and the other foster kittens that now I’m ready for the adult life 😊. I could love one person or a whole family of people - I'm not picky. Just be aware that I might be a tiny bit shy at first until I get to know you. I don’t think it will take me long though because I love people. I get along with dogs too and I like kids. So, if you’d like to have a sweet, pretty, and loving addition to your family, I’m your girl. I’ll be waiting to hear from you!

P.S. This is a very loving and affectionate kitty who would warm your lap and your heart and deserves a loving family home. So, if you are willing and able to adopt this wonderful little girl, please email drtweets2@msn.com or call/text 602-757-9791 and ask for Deb.

Additional adoption info

Complete an adopter application (email or text for a copy) followed up by a phone.interview. We ask about previous ownership of cats, dog doors, children, backup ownership in case of illness - the usual.
There is a re-homing fee for all cats and kittens..
The potential adopter would come to the foster home to meet the animal and then a home visit.
We return calls/texts/emails almost always within 24 hours even if the cat has already been adopted. We want to encourage adoption whether its from us or some other rescue.

Go meet their pets

By appointment only but we are very flexible and accommodating to meet people's schedules.

More about this rescue

We are a group of women and men who have volunteered in rescue for over 20 years each. We foster the cats and sometimes dogs in our homes with our own animals. This allows us to get to know the animal and what type of family would fit it.

We also are the care givers for several community/colony cats at a local college. We've been doing this for years also. We have stabilized the cat population at the college and the only new cats arriving are ones abandoned there. We haven't had a litter in years!!! We TNR all the cats but don't return the tame ones as we foster these and get them new homes.

We also educate friends and colleagues on finding new homes for their own cats if they can no longer keep them.

We would love to welcome in other like minded people to foster, help trap, stock the feeder and water stations, and drive cats to the S/N clinics. We would also welcome any cat food donations for the feral cats.
