The Pride puppies are a litter of 8 week old Chow Chows who are ready to take on the savannah with their forever homes! This litter of 5 boys came to DPS at only 2 weeks old with Mama Lioness. They have been fabulously raised by their canine mom and foster mom and are now ready to find their own herds. We expect these boys to be in the 50-60 pound range when they reach their adult weights and they are just as fluffy as can be! If you’re ready to find a little Simba of your own, come and meet our Pride!

Cheetah: Cheetah is the fluffiest heartbreaker of the boys who makes everyone fall in love with him! Cheetah is super confident and hasn’t met a toy or treat he hasn’t loved. He has such a sunny personality that brightens every room he enters and he leaves everyone wanting more once he zooms out. Cheetah knows just how adorable he is and he can’t wait to spread his love across his forever home.

Cougar: Cougar is the smallest of the boys but he has the biggest heart in the world! Cougar loves cuddling and frequently ditches wrestling practice to curl up in the lap of his foster mom and snooze the hours away. Cougar has that gorgeous dark red Chow coat and a tail so fluffy it could be a paintbrush! Cougar is a total Mama’s Boy and he can’t wait to be by your side for the rest of his life! If you’ve been wanting a weighted blanket who has hair that even a model would be jealous of, you’ll want to scoop Cougar up before someone else beats you to it!

Jaguar: Jaguar is the leader of the pack and the most outgoing of the brothers. He sets the daily agenda and is always down to try new things, whether snacks or toys. He loves zooming across the yard and chasing his own tail (you haven’t seen a cuter sight than a puffball trying to catch their fluffy tail). Jaguar is independent but also loves his humans and will always return to your side once he is done with his adventures. Just strap on his backpack and get ready to hit the trails!

Leopard: Leopard is the class clown and he keeps the energy up in his foster home with his goofy antics and adorable face. Leopard loves toys and he loves dragging huge plushies across the yard before his brothers can take them away. Leopard is on the calmer side of the litter but he is still an energetic puppy who will provide countless hours of entertainment and joy to his forever family. We know that Leopard will become the love of your life from the second you lay eyes on him.

Puma: Puma is an adorable teddy bear who will make you forget all about your life before him instantly! Puma loves his toys and is the king of dodging and weaving around his brothers during games of chase so he can keep the fluffy prize. Puma loves to explore and is most likely to sniff off on his own in the yard as the world grows exponentially by the day. Puma would love to explore the outdoors with his forever family, whether on a hike or a trip to the beach. Puma will catch attention wherever he goes, so be prepared for a famous furry friend!

The Pride puppies wake up around 6 AM and are given free access to kibble throughout the day to ensure they grow big and strong. They spend their days romping around the house, wrestling, cuddling in heart-melting puppy piles and just generally being the cutest puppies around! They have an endless supply of toys as they love to pounce and rastle with their stuffies. In the evening, they each get some one-on-one time and then head back into their pen to pile together for bed.

The Pride puppies have been well socialized with dogs of all sizes. The resident cat doesn’t like them but they want to be best friends! Socialization and continued training will be key for these puppies as Chows are loyal and dedicated pups for their families. We will be looking for homes to demonstrate their readiness for grooming as well. Ready to head to the safari? Adopt a Pride puppy today!

The Pride puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 7 unless they currently live with a Chow.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
