Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: When a local shelter mentions to us, a sweet young Shepherd loosing her shine inside their facility, it's like a bat signal going off for one of our fosters. So, without really any hesitant we made arrangements and welcomed her to Our Pack! Meet Zoe, a 3.5 year old girl who was surrendered due to the owner having allergies And it's no surprise, a breed that develops intense bonds with people, was starting to shut down in the shelter environment. Zoe has been incredibly sweet with the people she has met, And was very cautious comming into this new environment. But, within a few hours of meeting her roommates, she started to get more and more comfortable. Priority being to stay by the foster lady though. It didnt take too long and she has shared toys with the other dogs, loves her stuffed animals and any squeakies, and hasn't had issues with resource guarding. Zoe has a VERY typical GSD personality. Super Velcro strength to her human, is highly alert, curious, and keeps an eye out on anything going on. The second night here she was already allowed to not be kenneled, and had no issues. Cats are a no, as we seem to have the drive to chase, pester, and potentially grab the resident feline here. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.

We are a 501c3 non profit animal rescue out of Wisconsin. We are new , operating for almost 2 years and have saved over 250 dogs thus far! We help all over , any state that asks we do our best to help. Our motto is rescue. Rehab. Rehome. Repeat.
