MILO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Milo Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix
Best Guess for Age: 8 years as of January 2025 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 14.5 pounds
Gets Along With: Milo gets along well with other dogs and has lived with cats. We do not recommend him for a home with children under the age of 12.
Currently Living at: DC area home
All about Milo:
Third time's the charm, right?
Milo's original owners sadly had to surrender him in the fall of 2017, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. He was about a year old when he arrived into our care, and was quickly adopted out. He has been very well loved since then. Through no fault of anyone, he now needs a new home again.
In his previous home, he lived with cats and did well with them - he was just wary of them. He did well with the teens in his home, but was scared of young children - sudden high pitched screeches and fast unexpected movements are not his forte. He was crated when his humans were out and does well in the crate.
He's good on leash and loves his daily walks! When it's cold out, he does need to bundle up. He's good with other dogs he meets when out and about.
The most important thing about Milo is that he is a dog who loves his people and is always happy to see them. He wants nothing more than to once again have his own humans, to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof.
What do you say? Is he the one for your home and your heart? Are you his forever family?
