Meet Ivy, an 8 month old 25lb all round mix looking for her forever home!

Background: Ivy and her mom, Rudy Girl, also at helpadogsmile.org joined us from the reservation after a resident found them alone and desperately looking for food:) She started feeding them while we worked out transportation and confirmed that they were not owned dogs.

Personality: Ivy is a typical puppy who LOVES to play and wresstle. She loves all dogs and food is the way to her heart. She is in group play with up to 30 dogs and doing well though honestly she would love a home with her mom or another dog who loves to play.

Health: Ivy is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Training: ivy keeps her kennel clean and should be a pro in the house with a little guidance as she likes to be clean. She is comfortable wandering on a leash and with a treat will stay right with you. she is just a busy puppy :)

Ideal Home: Ivy would love a home where her family is easy and slow with her as she adjusts. She is fine with other dogs and loves to be with her people. If you are considering a pair she would love to be placed with her mom, Rudy. A secure, fenced-in yard is a must to keep her safe.

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.
