Miss Bagel thrives on affection; there is nothing she enjoys more than sitting beside you and getting petted (watch out for her belly though as that is a trap!). A very confident cat, she acclimated to her latest foster's home in about an hour. She loves her food too; she is not a picky eater and can be very food-motivated. She communicates her desires and complaints readily. She is a sweet young girl who just finished raising a giant litter of kittens (7!). She's now ready for quiet time being treated like the princess she deserves and has adjusted beautifully to living indoors only. She loves lap snuggles, playtime and naps in sunbeams. Before she came to us, neighbors who took her in before she gave birth outside said she was very tolerant of their young daughter and other cats. Can you give Bagel that home full of love?
Meet Bagel at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday during our weekly adoption event. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. Apply to adopt to be schedule a meet and greet. She should be ready for adoption by Saturday, 2/1.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
