Available for adoption Through MACS, being housed at Utica Petsmart!
Meet Trill, the fluffy independent cat. This female/spayed girl is 22 weeks old, Domestic Long hair. Trill was surrendered to MACS with very little human socialization. Thanks to the dedicated staff she has come a long way on her journey to loving humans. Who ever adopts Trill will have to understand she may never be a cuddly cat, she may turn out to be the type of cat that is independent and co exist in your home, although we hope with more time in her future home she builds confidence and comes around. Due to her background she will adjust best in a home that is dog, and child free as we want to ensure success for Trill and her new family. She does get along with other cats as she was surrendered with siblings. Trill will need a very patient owner who understands he boundaries and respects her and gives her time.

Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Interested in a dog? Please fill out an application at our website, please list dogs name on application or if you don't see one, please list breed/gender you are looking for. (We can place you on a wish list) Once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: https://macsshelter.org/dog-application. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.

We do take our dogs to different pet stores in the Metro Detroit area on Saturday's. You can visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/macs1935) to see where our next dog adoption event will be located. These events start at 11 AM - 2:30 PM.
