I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Xerses, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.
What my Foster Says About Me: Xerxes started putting as soon as we put down his crate. He took a moment to come out, but then started surveying his surroundings. He quickly set about rubbing against our legs and stopping for chin and face scritches. He is very affectionate. We’ve seen him eat a bit of food, but he spent most of his time showing affection. He loves to be petted and brushed. He is playful, and showed plenty of interest in the cat dancer. He doesn’t seem particularly athletic, though. More batting, nipping and swatting, and less chasing after it for now. He is alert, active and curious. And he’s already found a favorite place to lounge - in the sink, where he seems to fit perfectly.
What the Shelter Says About Me: Xerses is a hunka hunka burning love! This “red-headed” tabby is all about some loving and is the man to share his affectionate nature with! He is a big boy and has been talking about maybe starting a new exercise plan, but he might have to take a nap and think about it first! Anyway, if you pick him up and carry him around - you will be the one getting the exercise! His tabby stripes glow with a lot of reddish/orange fur in-between and makes extra handsome and unique. Xerses still enjoys playing with toys and mingling with other kitties. He is interested in the kitty tubes but we think he might need to get the XL version before he tries to go through it. All of this activity is great but he saves his energy for the dinner bell! No problems there!
Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.
TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
