Bourke and his sister Dooney were abandoned in a leather purse so it only seemed appropriate to name them after a purse brand. He is a little chatter box and will follow you around telling you about his day. Bourke likes being held and will purr when you hold him. He loves his chin, rubbed, and the back of his neck rub by his ears, but he doesn’t like his ears being played with. Bourke is more playful and not as standoffish as his sister (Dooney). Bourke is tested, neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. His estimated birth date is 10/25/2024 and his adoption fee is $150.

Living The Dream Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue that pulls animals from the euthanasia lists at various high kill shelters in Maricopa County and surrounding areas. Maricopa County has the highest euthanasia rate in Arizona. Additionally, we assist with public intake and hoarding situations. All animals are fostered in homes with loving families until adopted.
