Persimmon was brought in by a community member on January 21, 2025.

Meet Persimmon! Persimmon is a curious little lady with a knack for sniffing out the finest greens-she's basically a tiny foodie with impeccable taste. Dandelion greens? Delicious. Parsley? Magnifique. Cilantro? Don't even try to keep it on your plate; it's hers now. When she's not devouring her daily salad like a true gourmet, Persimmon enjoys surveying her kingdom from the comfort of her cozy hidey house. She's looking for a family who can appreciate her adventurous spirit and keep the greens coming (seriously, she'll know if you skimp). Female guinea pigs need large enclosures with a lot of ground space (8+ square feet) to run around and stay healthy. An easy and inexpensive way to give your guinea pig a DIY palace is called a C&C fleece lined cage (Google it!). She will need unlimited timothy hay to munch on, extra space to run around in, and toys to keep her active and enriched! Healthy greens, veggies, and pellets are also an essential part of her diet, as well as a daily dose of vitamin C!
