My story

Luna's original owner died in November 2024. Luna was passed around to different homes within the family, but no one wanted her. She was attacked by two dogs in her last home. That's when a family member reached out to Furry Kids Refuge.

Luna is now in a foster home with five other dogs. She is very energetic and loves to run and play. She is housetrained and knows basic commands. We feel she would do best in a home with younger, playful dogs, or a home with no other dogs. She is so loving and eager to please. She loves to go for car rides. She will be your best friend. Her eyes will melt your heart! She has been through so much these last few months. We hope her next home will be her forever home.

I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
