Hello there, I'm Hitch. I've always been a friendly and gentle guy, preferring cuddles and soft strokes over wild chases. I'm the mellow type, you see. I can't resist a warm lap or a gentle hand, and I'll purr like a motor to show my appreciation. I'm also a great listener, always ready to lend an ear after a long day. I'm the kind of cat who'll be your best friend, your confidant, your cuddle buddy. Why should you adopt me? Well, because I'm not just a cat. I'm Hitch, your future best friend. I promise to fill your life with sweetness, gentleness, and mellow cuddles. I'm ready to be your forever friend, are you ready to be mine? But, we can't leave behind my sister Dusti. She is beautiful but shy. She takes a little time to trust but once she does she will love you till the end. We are bonded and must be adopted together.

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
