My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Everest is 8 months old and has been patiently waiting for his forever home to find him. He has a pleasant personality. A very sweet boy. He likes to 'help' his foster Mom clean the litterbox all the while purring up a storm. He loves to give head butts and plop himself down and show his belly for some rubs.

He would be a great companion for an existing cat or cat savvy dog in the home. He could also be your one and only. He would love a kitty tree with different levels and cubbies to play and sleep in. He loves sitting on the windowsill and looking at the birds and squirrels outside. Of course he loves toys, and we know he will be a wonderfully sweet and fun companion for his new person or family. It you think Everest could be your boy, he is ready to meet you.

He has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt this wonderful guy today!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Please read the biography on the dog first and if the dog sounds like a match, pls fill out an application on our website.

2.
Interview

We review applications and we choose the application(s) that appear to be the best match and we do a phone interview.

3.
Approve Application

If the Interview Team agrees it is a match, then we approve the home.

4.
Pay Fee

In order to make an appointment to meet the dog you are interested in, we require a $50 deposit that goes towards your adoption fee.

5.
Meet the Pet

Once the deposit is paid we then set up the home to meet the dog.

6.
Pay Fee

Pay the Fee and take the dog home!

Doggie Protective Services is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. Our rescued dogs and cats live in foster homes until we can find them appropriate, responsible, loving homes. We carefully screen potential adoptors through an application and interview process.
