My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brush LOVES to cuddle and wants to be your best bud. If you are looking for a cream puff who loves life, this little fella could be just the kitty for you. He is a very fluffy guy with a really fluffy tail like a bottle brush, hence his name. He comes running when you call his name and turns tummy-side-up so you can rub his round belly. If not the tummy, he will roll on his side, stretch himself from head to toe and wait for a spinal rub; that is his signature greeting. He is still young, maybe 10-11 months old. He enjoys his free toys...feathers, pecans, acorns, hanging strings. He is not much of a climber, and he can purr with the best of them. He really enjoys mealtime, and he lets you know if he thinks the caterer is late. He can be a bully with his playmates and knows when he is 'called down'. He may like being an only cat and his human's cuddle bunny. Even if there are other cats, he needs a home where he can get lots of kitty pets and lap cuddles. Vaccinated: distemper/parvo/feline herpes, rabies Neutered: yes Dewormed : yes Tests negative for FIV and feline leukemia Please contact Hannah 512-466-4129, Killeen. Minimum donation of $200 applies, representing a portion of the cost of veterinary care and food.

More about this rescue

We are primarily a feral or stray cat rescue organization, dedicated to ending the killing of feral cats by local animal controls and shelters. This is accomplished by reducing the number of cats using TNRM (trap, neuter, vaccinate, return, maintain) methods. In the process, some abandoned stray friendly cats and many kittens come into our system who need homes. We are not a shelter, so these are all fostered in our homes, making them really special cats. Volunteers are always needed for trapping, feeding colonies, education, and fostering. Call (512) 709-7020. And of course, donations are always welcome.
