Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgie is a 5 year old French Bulldog who came to us in horrible condition. He is the product of bad breeding and has some congenital defects. He arrived here underweight, gasping for air and regurgitating nearly all his food.
He has had surgical procedures to correct his stenotic nares & elongated soft palate. His tonsils were also removed. He now breathes more easily, keeps down 95-100% of his food and is a more healthy weight. He is the smallest adult Frenchie we have seen at just 11lbs & was likely the runt of his litter. He does need to eat 3 small meals daily off of a lick mat and he takes Prilosec & Mylanta twice a day.
Georgie is calm, sweet & quiet. He gets along with other dogs and would do fine with cats.
He’s neutered, UTD on vaccines & microchipped. We do believe he was living in a crate prior to coming to us because his booty, legs & paws were stained from urine & feces so he is not potty trained. He does however do well going out frequently.
Requirements to adopt Georgie:
* Schedule that allows for his lunchtime feeding & frequent potty breaks
* No kids under the age of 10 living in the home. Visiting younger kids are fine.
If you’d like to give him the home he’s always deserved, send an email inquiry to Lovetotherescueinc@gmail.com
We do not accept phone call inquiries.
Georgie is fostered in Wesley Chapel, FL. Our travel time for home checks must not exceed 1 hour.
