Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shaggy is a sweet, cuddly and loving Manx cat. He is a total lap cat who loves to be with you all of the time - whether it's cuddling on the couch or napping at your feet. He just wants to shower you with love.
Shaggy does have Manx Syndrome, which, in his case, affects his bladder. Manx Syndrome can also affect their hind legs and colon, but that doesn't appear to be the case for Shaggy. Shaggy is incredibly efficient and independent with using the litter box. Occasionally, he'll need a little extra care due to slight urine leakage, but his gentle nature and loving personality make him so worth the little bit of extra work.
Shaggy gets along well with the cat in his foster home and loves to cuddle with him. He would do best in a home with another feline friend or 2. While Shaggy hasn't been around dogs, his friendly and affectionate demeanor suggest he could adjust to new situations - with patience and care.
DOB: 6/2/24
Adoption fee: $140 includes neuter, deworming, FVRCP, rabies and microchip.
If interested in adopting Shaggy, please fill out an adoption application:

More about this rescue
We are a non-profit animal rescue group.
We started out as just a fund, at our local vet, to help pay for operations, etc. for animals in need. Now we rescue animals in need: injured, sick, old, or dying. We give them a second chance and the best life we can until a forever home can be found. We take animals most other rescues turn down because we believe all life is worth our efforts.
Our organization is all volunteer and foster based, because we do not have a shelter. We do not euthanize our animals to make room for more. We run totally on donations and are willing to take any type [money, food, toys, bedding, crates, etc.]. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 2371, Marion NC 28752.
