My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zara!
This sweet girl is approximately 8 weeks old and is already stealing hearts with her loving personality and irresistible puppy eyes. 🐶💖
Zara is living with three large dogs 🐕 and has proven to be extremely dog-friendly. Zara loves to run, play, and wrestle with her foster siblings, and she’s learning the ropes of good behavior by observing them. She is confident with other dogs and always happy, making her a joy to have around. 🐕‍🦺✨ Her intelligence shines through as she picks up on cues from the other dogs and her foster family.
At night, Zara sleeps soundly in her kennel in the same room as her foster parents and their dogs. She’s already showing great progress and adapting well to her new environment. Zara enjoys exploring the world around her, and she’s curious about everything. Her favorite activities include wrestling with her foster siblings, playing with toys 🧸, and snuggling on the couch for a nap.
Zara would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of love, attention, and opportunities for play. She’s a social butterfly 🦋 and would make a wonderful addition to any family, whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a cuddle companion, or both! Zara would do best in a home with other active dogs as she is very dog social and loves to play. 🎾🐕 While Zara is still a puppy and has plenty of energy, she also has a calm and gentle side that will melt your heart.

Additional adoption info

We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue

The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
