Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Alani girl! She is a fan of all things, truly. A lover of everyone, and everything. We can't get enough of her snores, grumbles, and sighs as she snuggles in as close as she can. Kids are her very favorite, and she walks on leash like a champ! While at home, Alani is a genuine couch potato, that's not when she's outside chasing tennis balls, or playing some good old tug of war! Every time Alani gets a nice scratch on her rump, she basically folds into you, since it feels so good, it is adorable! This sweet girl is working on getting all of the basics down since she's growing up in such a great foster families! She is crate-trained, knows following your hand for treats, AND does great with other dogs, cats, kids, you name it! You can expect her to be just as playful as other puppies, though, that's for sure! She loves squatting down and jumping up like a frog, just as high as she can when she's all happy to see you. If this darling girl sounds like she's the one, come meet her, she's only better in person! At about 3 months old, and 12 pounds, she's that PERFECT size, and somewhat of a CHUNK)! (Yes. That is the cutest little grin you've ever seen.)

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
