My name is Willow Rae!

Are you looking for a companion, a lap dog? A pup that wants to be by your side and snuggle when it’s cold? Then look no further because here I am! My name is Willow Rae, and I was a momma dog to 5 puppies that were delivered in Angels’ care. I was pulled from a shelter when I was pregnant, and I delivered and cared for my babies. They were all adopted, but now it’s my turn for a forever home. I am a Shih-Tzu mix, and I am soft as can be. I will require grooming from time to time as my hair will get a little out of control if not trimmed every few months. If you keep me brushed, my fur will stay untangled. I am about six years old, and I have severe cataracts…so much so that I do not have much eyesight. But I do navigate around all by myself! I see shadows and movement, so I have figured out how to get around my foster home and love to sleep with my foster mommy. I usually sleep by her legs, so I am not right in anyone’s face, but I do love human companionship. I get along with my foster brothers and sisters but do not need another dog in my new home. I like to get all the attention. Young kids are probably not a good fit since I do not see so well. I do not navigate stairs, so I either need a ranch home or someone that is willing to take me up and down the stairs. I am very quiet…my foster mom has only heard me bark once! I am not fully house-trained and will use pee pads. I do need some work on learning to go outside to go potty.
