Sophie is a 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) mix weighing about 26 lb. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and good with kids.

Sophie was rescued from a hoarding situation in Kentucky where she was locked in a shed. Miraculously, this hasn’t dampened her spirits. She can be a little shy and unsure at first, so she’s looking for a family with the patience to show her that the world isn’t so scary. But once you earn her trust, she just wants to be your best friend and climb into your lap to snuggle.

The first step of our adoption process is an application. Please submit the application via email to the contact on the listing.

Approve Application

If an application is approved, the foster will contact you to set up a meet and greet.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are set up only with an approved application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, Microchip, UTD shots, deworming and take home bag.

Bridge To Home is a foster based all volunteer rescue group dedicated to helping the unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs. We have rescued more than 1,000 in our two years of existence. We do monthly adoption events at local pet stores.
