Meet Fig! A pretty 1 year old female who is maybe a mix of shepherd or herding type dogs and hound? This is all guessed based on looks and personality. She’s tall, quite lean, and between 35-40 pounds, making her a perfect sized companion!
While she’s young and likes to keep
entertained and her mind busy, she also has this old-soulfulness side to her. She’s very sweet, people-pleasing, reserved, and sensitive so a good balance of two sides! Figgy gets along incredibly well with the house dogs and would love a sibling or two, or opportunities to go play with others and open up. She would benefit from a fenced or big yard to stretch her legs, or someone that is active and can get her out often each day. She’s great on a leash and would love to explore with you! She also loves any activity that has to do with food, chewing her bones, shredding boxes and paper, and curling up with a pillow or in a dog bed.
Fig chases the house cats when they run by but hasn’t paid much attention to them when they’re in their room hanging out. She’s crate trained in her foster home and potties outside when on a routine schedule.
Applications can be found at bridgetohome84.org and emailed to chasidy.bthar@gmail.com for consideration.
