My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Dolly, and I’m an 11-week-old Lab puppy who’s as sweet and kind as the legendary Dolly Parton herself—though I have a few chin hairs that add a little extra character to my girlish charm!
I’m a quiet, gentle soul who loves playing with my siblings and spending time outside, but my heart truly belongs indoors with my people. I can be a bit shy when meeting new friends, but once I warm up (and it doesn’t too take long), you’ll feel like we’ve known each other forever.
I adore being held and showered with affection. My foster mom says I’m doing wonderfully with potty training and sleeping through the night like a pro. I’m sweet, soft-spoken, and an excellent listener. If you’re ready to be my new BFF, I promise to love you forever.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
