Mashed Potato
Shepherd mix
Female (mandatory spay date 3/3/25)
DOB- est 10/21/24
Weight approx 10lbs
I’m Mashed Potato! But I’ll let you call me whatever you like! I’m in search of my forever home to grow up in and I’m hoping you or someone you know would love to give me all the love and spoil me rotten! Other than the fact that I’m super darling and adorable here’s some things you should know about me!
I just learned how to play with toys, and I especially love playing tug! If you give me a fleece stuffie I’ll tear it to shreds too! Things that squeak I really get a kick out of!
I do sleep well at night now as I’ve become more comfortable and learned that I’m going to be ok. I certainly voiced my displeasure to foster momma the first few nights though I’m not kept in a crate at night or when I’m home alone but I am kept in an x-pen with a nice bed to snuggle into. I also require a nightlight and foster mom plays some dog relaxation noise on the TV for me.
I’m not potty trained as I’m just a little spud. And this Buffalo cold weather has me less than pleased to be outside. But I’m learning how to use a potty pad!
I love everyone and everything. Especially the cats. I love stalking them and chomping on their tail. But then when I’m told I can’t do that, I lay next to them and pretend I did nothing wrong! My foster big brother is much larger than me and he’s got a big bark and plays hard so I get a little nervous, but I’m starting to stand up to him and he even let me win a tug game(with foster moms help of course!)
I’m already demonstrating strong loyalty qualities. I would be a great family dog, as I’d get all kinds of attention but I also think that I may really love becoming someone’s best friend! Just a pup and her bestie! Adventuring through life together! I think I will truly be someone’s soul dog!
My teefies are really bugging me so please forgive me if I’m a little nippy! Especially if you are a little hooman. But I’m super duper smart so I’m learning everything so fast!
My foster mom’s favorite thing about me is that I am such a good cuddler. And the way I run is just too cute for words. I have puppy zoomies all the time but then I crash and cuddle even longer! Also she’s always trying to smell my mouth which is weird. But I let her because it makes her happy. She says I still have “puppy” breath, and I said, I am a little potato spud, DUH!!
