Meet Duck, a super friendly 1.5 year old neutered male hound/lab mix! He weighs about 50 lbs currently but is underweight and needs to fill out a bit (his foster parents are working on this!).
Duck is best described as a big LOVE! He was a staff favorite at the animal control facility he was at before being taken into rescue by Paws Rescue League. He loves to cuddle and really enjoys butt scratches and belly rubs! He is a smart boy who already knows some commands like "sit" and "paw" - he is a fast learner and eager to please!
Duck loves other dogs, people, and kids. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. He is medically up to date, crate trained, and housebroken. A 100% good doggo! Apply to meet this sweet boy today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
