Meet Debbie: A Devoted and Loving Companion

Debbie is a 70-pound medium mixed breed with a heart as big as her personality. This sweet and loyal girl was found as a stray, and not long after, we discovered she was expecting! Debbie gave birth to seven beautiful puppies in a foster home, where she proved to be an amazing mom, raising her babies with love and care.

Now that her puppies have grown and found their own homes, it’s Debbie’s turn to find her forever family. She’s a lovable, affectionate, and fiercely loyal companion who will thrive as the center of attention in her new home. Debbie prefers to be the only pet in the household—she likes having all the love and cuddles to herself!

While Debbie can be a bit reactive to new people at first, she warms up quickly and becomes a loyal friend. She’s especially protective of her human family, so she would do best in a home with children aged 12 and up. For her safety and comfort, Debbie’s future home must have a privacy fence.

Submit Application

Select an animal to meet with and fill out the Adoption Form online.

2.
Meet the Pet

Schedule an appointment to come to the shelter and meet the pet.

3.
Take the Pet Home

If everything goes well during the meet-n-greet process you will be able to take home your new pet the same day or arrange a 24hr hold.

Adoptions can be finalized same day. Please call our shelter to learn about our adoption policies and/or schedule an adoption appointment.

Go meet their pets

We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm for adoptions. Thursdays we offer later appointments and are open 10am-12pm and 1pm-6pm for adoptions ONLY. All Thursday evening appointments must be scheduled before 4pm. Adoptions range from 60 to 90 minutes to complete. The shelter is closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays.
