Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Max, a charming and unique little guy searching for his perfect forever home! Max is a delightful mix—his mom is a Cavalier/Maltese, and his dad is a Poodle, but with his fluffy coat and lively personality, he looks a bit like a Pomeranian mix (his DNA profile confirms his fascinating lineage!).
Max just celebrated his 4th birthday and weighs around 12 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you—his personality is larger than life! Max is incredibly smart and knows how to use a doggie door to take himself outside for potty breaks. He loves leash walks, car rides, and playing nicely with other small dogs. However, he does bark at cats and can’t resist barking and twirling with excitement when he sees dogs on TV!
This little guy is an owner surrender due to heartbreaking circumstances. His previous owner moved in with her elderly parents (in their 90s) to care for them, leaving Max alone for long hours. They loved him dearly but wanted what’s best for him—a home where he’ll have plenty of companionship.
Max is neutered, heartworm-negative, on ProHeart, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He’s looking for a warm lap to snuggle in and someone who can give him the love and time he deserves. If you’re ready for an affectionate, smart, and endlessly entertaining companion, Max might just be your perfect match!

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.
