Hello there, I'm Gracie! I'm a sweet, friendly, and cuddly senior cat with a gentle spirit. I've spent my days here making friends and warming laps. I've been told I have a purr that can soothe any soul, and I love nothing more than to curl up with a good book... or rather, a good reader! I'm quite the conversationalist too, and I'm always ready to lend an ear when you need to chat. I've got a lot of love left to give, and I'm looking for a forever home where I can share it. It's easy to adopt. Fill out an adoption application and contract. All adoptions include spay or neuter, vaccinations, de-worm, and rabies. All dogs receive obedience training during their stay here at the shelter and most go to their new homes already trained.

The Humane Society of NCA is a non-profit, 501C3 organization staffed by employees and volunteers. We house approximately 50 dogs and 50 cats. We have been the only Humane Society in Baxter County for 40 years. Our Humane Society receives no government funding and is supported by donations from our members and members of the community.
