Beya is a 2 year old, 15 lb. Maltese/Poodle mix.
Beya had a very rough start in life and is now learning to trust people and how to be a dog. This sweet girl just needs some time and patience to come out of her shell and trust again. But she is well worth the wait! Once comfortable, Beya will cuddle up next to you and is so snuggly - it's precious to watch! Beya is blossoming in her foster home and has mastered crate and potty training. She does well with her routine and hopes to continue it and be successful in her forever home one day! Beya is still learning that leashes aren't so scary and is enjoying walks in her neighborhood. She also has enjoyed the company of her calmer foster dog sibling and will wake her up to play in the morning! She would love to find a home where she is either an only pet or has a calm, patient canine buddy to play with! Beya does have a lot of energy when she gets comfortable and loves to run around and play in her yard. She is loving these fun new things her foster mom calls "toys" and enjoys the plush and squeaky ones the most! They are so fun to play with and snuggle with and she hopes her forever home will have lots of them she can enjoy! Beya can't wait to find her happily ever after and grow up with a family who will cherish her and bring out the best in her!
