Who doesn't love a little scruffy faced puppy?! Our girl Tillie certainly fits the bill and is hard to resist! Tillie is part of a litter of 7 born around the middle of November because of irresponsible pet owners not spaying their dog. Tillie and her siblings, spent the first 7 weeks of her life in a small pen out in the cold on the back deck. This rough start did not prevent Tillie from being a happy-go-lucky girl who loves everyone. She is very people oriented and doesn't like not being around her people. For this reason, Tillie would do best in a home where someone is there with her most of the time. Tillie is a spunky Terrier/Chi mix girl girl who knows what she wants and knows how to let you know when she is not happy! She loves to play with her squeaky toys, loves to snuggle, and loves her people unconditionally. We estimate Tillie's adult weight will be in the 20-25 pound range. Her dad, I weighed twenty one pounds, and her mom was said to have weighed ten pounds. This sweet girl is just waiting to meet her new family and shower them with love and puppy kisses! Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
