Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meow, my name is Kia and I`m a shyly sweet musical kitty cat! When I first meet new people, I tend to be a little timid, but once I get to know you, I transform into the most affectionate and cuddly feline friend. My favorite pastime is playing chase - I love when you throw toys for me to pounce on and return, even if I don`t always bring them back. I also enjoy a good scratching session on my favorite sisal and cardboard posts. Though I may take a day or two to warm up to my surroundings, I`m an absolute delight once I feel comfortable. If you`re looking for a gentle, melodic companion to add some music to your life, then I`m your gal! How did I get here? Adopted & returned when I was afraid of the new baby in the home.
~My adoption fee is $65.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
