A25264 Rae is a calico tortie colored, approximately 4 and a half-year-old, 12-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat.
She entered the shelter as a stray on 01-27-2025.
Rae is a friendly, social and easy to handle girl here in the shelter. When she first entered the shelter, she was really scared and unsure as to why she was there. Now she is at the front of her kennel rubbing on the door, waiting for affection. She will lean into your head and neck scratches and rub against your legs for attention. Rae will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
