Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You don’t have to look hard to see Loretta’s cuteness, in fact she is stunning! Two different color eyes, outlined perfectly and a smile that matches her playful personality. and an upbeat vibe that’s contagious!. Take a look at her video to see her in action then come back to read more

She has a perfect Husky-like build but stands out from the crowd with her stunning white coat. Of course, we cannot guarantee her breed given she is a rescue but some breeds can’t hide, no matter what is mixed in there. We see Husky in there and I am sure you do too. Loretta is such a lovely version of her perceived breed, with a mix that brings in fun elements that are not always seen in the breed.
We believe Loretta is 1.5 years old and she weighs 47 lbs fully grown. A great size! Just like with breed, age is not a detail we can guarantee given the nature of rescue. Huskies can sometimes be described as aloof but that is not the case for Loretta. She is a loving, playful girl, gets along well with other dogs, with an affection for stuffies and is ready for a game of fetch.
Confident and friendly, Loretta is truly easy company! She is so fortunate to be fostered in a loving home while she waits for her adoption day. This not only ensures she is well-versed in house manners, but gives us a front-row seat to her personality. Her fosters share that she was an easy addition, gets along well with their dog, greets guests with friendly, welcoming energy, and has wonderful house manners. She currently lives with 4 other dogs ranging from 12-2 years old and she has been an easy addition to the pack. She is able to read dogs well, knowing when a dog is not interested in playing and when one is. The fast bestie-match was with a 4 y/o male with a very similar play style to hers, bouncy with moments of vocal-play. She would thrive in a house with a playful dog and a yard for bouncing around and singing her little husky-like song on occasion. Her foster also shared that she thinks Loretta is a “pre-owned” model, complete with the best upgrades of being both house and crate trained!
We introduced Loretta to a handful of dogs, a variety of sizes and temperaments and everything we saw confirmed what her foster family shared, she is definitely dog friendly. Don’t worry though, as much as she knows how to play, she also knows how to relax.
If you enjoy the company of a dog while you get your steps in or plan on a tag-along-pal, Loretta is going to be a dream! Her leash skills are impressive, keeping a great, easy pace and staying by your side. Thanks to Loretta's leash skills and ease in the car, she is a perfect tag-along pal. On leash she walks at an easy pace, glancing over at passing dogs or an interesting smell before carrying on by your side. Her foster family shared she can load up on her own, if you get the door she can handle the rest. In the car she is quiet and can be found either looking out the window at the sights or snoozing the miles away.
It’s easy to see what makes Loretta so lovable and special! She is ready for forever and all the fun that is waiting! If you are ready, apply today!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2-acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non-profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
