My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***ATTN: Courtesy Listing: Cookie is currently at a foster home in the Marietta, GA area, not located at our rescue. She could be transported to the Ringoes, NJ area if an approved adopter in that area is found. An application for her adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions pertaining to Cookie and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's number.***

Cookie was found as a stray after being seen running across a highway in South Georgia. Initially, she was taken in by the area's animal control and adopted by a woman but then returned to the AC after the adopter decided she wanted a smaller dog. Luckily for Cookie, an independent rescuer met Cookie and offered to foster her until a home could be found for her. SoCo Rescue was asked to help in finding Cookie a new home.

Cookie is very playful, whether that's with other dogs, people or by herself with her doggy toys. She would do very well in a home with other dogs, children who are dog-responsible and would thrive in the home of an active person. She's house, leash and crate trained, even knows some basic commands. Her only known drawback is her ability to jump over a 4' tall fence

Cookie has received and is current on all of her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other such care. She's been kept current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, even recently testing negative on her heartworm test as well. She's also been spay.
