My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy is an approximately 2 year old, 30 pound, playful pitbull-mix! She had a rough start in life and is just ready for a family to love her forever. After her previous owner passed, Brandy was a loyal companion and was found staying by his side for days. Because her previous owner had no family to take her, she was then taken to a high-kill shelter where she was rescued by Adopt-a-Pit after being slated for euthanasia. Brandy is great with other dogs, and would do best in a home without young children (older children would be fine). She would also need a home with a fence, because she is a high jumper and very vocal! This agile girl would love to be your running buddy, and after going on a long walk she would love to just lie with you on the couch. She loves any and all treats, and just wants to be scratched and loved on. She has mastered “sit” and we are working on “stay” and “down.” She does perfect during bath time, and is crate and outside-potty trained!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
