Betsy is a 2yr old Corgi Mix. She is the absolute sweetest girl. She has been through alot. First her owner passed, then the family surrendered her and her best friend to a high kill shelter, then her bestie was adopted and they left her behind. Petrified and scared of the world, her only security was her best friend and they were now gone and she found herself on the euth list. So our rescue stepped up and took her on to give her some hope to a better future. Betsy is good natured, loves people, good with gentle kids, but has a fear of large dogs and we are not sure of cats. She walks very well on a leash and loves to cuddle. She is spayed, vaccines & rabies are up to date, microchipped, crate trained and appears to be housebroke. Gem State Service Dogs & Rescue is a 501(c)3 organization with the goal of rescueing as many dogs as we can to either be trained to be Service Dogs or Great Family Pets. We are also professional trainers so any behavior issues will be worked on before being placed in a home.
