Meet Rudy - named for his 2 grey spots on his head that made me think of Rudolf the reindeer with antlers. He is one of 3 siblings rescued when he was about 7 weeks old (2 weeks after his sisters were caught). A stray mama cat had the kittens under a koi pond. Rudy is the most apprehensive of the 3 siblings - I think because he was caught last and needs more time and love to warm up. Rudy is all white with amber eyes... except for the 2 grey "antler" spots on his head. The grey on the head is a trademark with the siblings.
Rudy loves to play with any cat that will play with him. He tries to snuggle up to 2 older male cats in the house and slowly wares them down to love him. Rudy will wait for his 2 sisters to cuddle up by foster mom before he deems it safe to venture over... but as soon as he joins he will use his words and tell you he's ready for love. As soon as you rub his bum he will fall over and let you rub his belly. Rudy is good around other cats, and submissive if an older cat is being aggressive towards him. With all his energy, Rudy would do best with another cat companion, and seems to really like the older cats but still plays with his kitten siblings. Rudy knows the word "treat" and the shake of the treat jar and will come running, but thinks it may be a trap so it takes him a minute to trust (probably because I use to the treats to round them up when I need to take them to the vet).
Foster mom has given kittens a bedtime around 8-9pm when they have to go into their bedrooms to unwind for the night. At meal times, Rudy waits for his sisters to eat first, then will come over when he knows it's safe and will quickly let me pet him while he eats. Rudy has started to find his words lately and loves to talk - it's more of a half chirp, half kitten purr. He recently started a new dance move where he lifts his bum and kind of shakes, I call it the crouching tiger dance. He does it when he wants someone to play with him. Rudy has more energy than his sisters, but is a big love bug once he knows he's safe.
