My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Tanya, and I’m a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with the most beautiful brown brindle coat you’ve ever seen. I weigh 40 pounds, which is just the right size to lean into you when I need a little reassurance—and trust me, I’ll lean in a lot.

You see, I’m a sweet girl who’s been through a lot. I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 01/21/2025, and while this place is safe, it can feel a bit overwhelming for someone like me. I’m a little scared right now, but my gentle heart shines through. When I lean into you, it’s my way of saying, “I trust you.”

I already know how to sit for treats, and I take them so gently—you’d think I was born with perfect manners! I’m not spayed yet, but the shelter will take care of that before I go home with you. My shots are all up to date, so I’m ready to start my journey with a loving family as soon as you’re ready to bring me home.

If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted companion who just needs a little love to come out of her shell, I’m your girl. Meet me at cage #48—my ID is 7673. Let’s lean on each other and create a lifetime of happy memories.

With hope and gentle tail wags,
Tanya 🐾
