QUAID NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Quaid Best Guess for Breed: Retriever/Lab-type mix
Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of January 2025 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 37 lbs as of 1/27/25; he is still growing!
Gets Along With: Other dogs. We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here!
Quaid is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own this sweetie landed in the shelter. He's not very long out of puppyhood and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world. He's eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.
Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Does Quaid have a spot in your home and your heart?
What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster.
