Here's what the humans have to say about me:
EXCELLENT DOG ALERT!
The lovely Heidy has arrived in Maine, and is looking for her perfect home!
We rescued Heidy from the Moreno Valley Shelter in CA a couple of months ago. She went to the shelter because her elderly owners passed away. Heidy is only 3 yrs old and she is a big girl of 80 lbs.
Unfortunately, her owners never gave Heidy a lick of any training, manners etc. Luckily a trainer out in CA had a spot for her while we waited for transport, so Heidy has learned her manners, and is now good on leash, and knows her commands! She was also well socialized, taken out in public etc. She has learned a LOT, and knows down, sit, stay, and shake. She is also crate trained!
She is a smart girl!
The trainer says Heidi has an excellent disposition, and is good with both male and female dogs. She is big and can be rambunctious, so she will be looking for an active home that will walk and hike with her!
If you are an active and loving home and would like to open your home and heart to one of our dogs, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will not schedule meet and greets without an approved app on file. Here’s the link: www.miraclegsdmaine.org
PLEASE NOTE that we will call your vet to ensure all current and prior dogs have been kept up to date on rabies and distemper at a minimum as well as annual heartworm test and a minimum of 6 mos heartworm preventative purchased per year. Any current pets must be spayed/neutered
