Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a good mix of energetic and chill, and I’m always up for an adventure, but I also know how to relax when the time’s right. I love to play with other dogs and run around chasing squirrels, but I can be mindful when a dog or cat isn’t as energetic as me. I’m all about the fun—if a dog can keep up with my speedy runs, I’m their new best friend! I’ve met both cats and dogs and get along with everyone, as long as they’re ready to play or at least let me show some love.
When I meet new people, I get super excited and interested, but I can be a bit shy at first, especially around men. Once I feel comfortable, I warm up fast and am all about showing love—I’ve definitely bonded with my dad and brother! I’m super sweet with kids too and love playing with them whenever I can.
Some of my favorite things are long walks, running, and playing with toys or bones. I’m also a champ when it comes to car rides—no whining from me! I’ll just sit quietly, taking in all the sights and smells, and I’m even cool with elevator rides. I love snuggling up and giving kisses when I’m feeling cozy. And let me tell you, I have the cutest snore when I nap!
I’m a very playful and energetic pup, but I also enjoy my beauty rest and need a little encouragement to get up in the mornings. I’m still working on my leash skills—sometimes I get a little too excited—but I’m a fast learner and really motivated by treats! I also have this adorable quirk: when I’m watching TV with you, I get so invested that I’ll stand right in front of the screen, tilting my head to figure out what’s going on. And as much as I love to run, I’m still a little confused about the concept of fetch—I’ll chase the ball, tap it, and then run back to you smiling, but I’m not about to grab it. It’s pretty cute though, I promise!
I would be perfect for an active family who can give me lots of love, patience, and playtime. A backyard or nearby park would be ideal for me to run around in. I’d also be thrilled to have another dog friend to spend time with. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and sweet pup who is still working on a few things, I could be the perfect addition to your family!
