My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Badger! My foster mommy found me and my brother Boots in a parking lot back in NC. After earning our trust with lots of food, catnip, and cuddles, they brought us in. We lived with two dogs and an older cat, and had a great time being part of a clan. Now I’m ready to be part of a family that will give even more love and attention!

I took a little more convincing than my brother. I fear strangers and hid under cars and in storm drains. But I trust other animals, so seeing my brother being fed and happy gave me the OK to seek out human affection. I do still like to hide sometimes, so don’t panic if you can’t find me at first, I’m probably just behind the fridge or in your laundry.

I really like dogs and male cats, female cats, not so much. Once I trust a person, I will never leave them alone.

After living on the streets, I am not picky about my food at all. I love to help in the kitchen and will lick your unattended plates and dirty dishes in the sink.

Have any questions about me or want to see more pictures? Reach out to Sula T. in adoptions.
