Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi! I’m Missy :) I’m just as sweet and gentle as my name implies, but my foster Mom thinks it must be short for something like “Artemis” too. My beautiful black fur and inquisitive eyes make make me seem mystic and regal!
You’ll notice that my ear has been clipped… pretty cute right? That means I was originally brought inside just to be spayed. I was found outside and it seemed like I was maybe just a “stray” … but my foster mom quickly saw that I was used to humans and loved being inside.
I didn’t mind being picked up at all - in fact I immediately started purring and rubbing my head against her hands! I flopped and showed my belly and welcomed being petted. Since then, I’ve gotten more confident and learned to enjoy playing with toys and getting the zoomies! I meow for food and love company, but I also enjoy time to myself hiding in snuggly caves I find around the house. I’m a delight - and if my foster mom didn’t already have two cats, she’d probably be keeping me herself.
My foster cat-sisters and I are pretty scared of each other so far, but I think with time and patience I could learn to be comfortable with new friends! I’m on the smaller side, so I just try to protect myself from new things.
The vets think I’m around 2 years old, even though I’m the same size as some teen kittens. I’m tiny, but powerful, and I’d love to find my forever family to play and snuggle with!
Let’s meet! I can be shy, but once you earn my trust we’ll be fast friends.
I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I`m the perfect fit for your family.
